Privacy Policy for Card-opolis

Introduction

This privacy policy applies to the Card-opolis mobile application (the "App") created by Pender Gaming ("we", "us", "our"). The App is a free collection of card games - solitaire games (Klondike, FreeCell, Spiderette, Pyramid, TriPeaks, Golf), trick-taking games (Hearts, Spades, Euchre, King's Orders), 21-style table games (Blackjack Master, Hijack 21, Pocket 21, Pressure 21, Roundhouse 21, Zero Sum) and other card games (Poker-Up, Cameo, Breakpoint, Crazy Stack, Flux) - guided by a mascot called Pip. It supports Android and iOS.

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect, store, or transmit any of the following ourselves:

• Your name, email address, phone number, or other contact details
• Your precise or approximate location
• Photos, files, contacts, microphone, or camera data (the App does not request these permissions)
• Payment or financial information (the App has no in-app purchases)
• Analytics or usage tracking data of our own

Data Stored on Your Device

To let you continue where you left off, the App saves the following information locally on your device (using the device's standard app storage):

• Game progress: how many times you have played each game, the stamps and Crests you have earned, win streaks and best streaks, and which story screens you have already seen.
• Virtual chip balances: the virtual chips you hold in games that use betting. Virtual chips are free, have no cash value, cannot be bought with money and cannot be exchanged for money or prizes. The App does not offer real-money gambling.
• Settings and choices: your card-back choice, whether Pip's tips appear during games, and individual game preferences such as sound or draw mode.

This data never leaves your device and is not sent to us or to anyone else.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App is free because it shows ads provided by Google AdMob, a third-party service. The App shows:

• A banner ad at the bottom of many game screens.
• An optional rewarded video ad, shown only if you choose to watch one, for example to receive extra virtual chips in a betting game.

To show, measure, and protect the integrity of ads, Google AdMob may collect and use information such as:

• Your device's advertising ID (Google Advertising ID on Android, Identifier for Advertisers on iOS)
• IP address, from which an approximate location may be derived
• Device and operating system information (such as model, OS version, language, and screen size)
• App information and interactions with ads (such as ad impressions and clicks)
• Diagnostic and performance information

The App uses the Internet and network-state permissions only so that ads can load. Ads may require the advertising ID permission that Android adds automatically for apps that show ads.

Consent and Your Ad Choices

• Consent (EEA, UK, Switzerland and similar regions): where the law requires it, the App shows a consent message (Google's User Messaging Platform) when you first open it, before requesting any ads. You can review or change your choice later from Settings → Privacy & ad choices inside the App when it is available for your region.
• iOS tracking permission: on iOS, the App asks for your permission (App Tracking Transparency) before using the advertising identifier for tracking. If you decline, ads are not personalized using that identifier. You can change this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
• Personalized ads: you can limit or opt out of ad personalization in your device settings. On Android: Settings → Google → Ads (or Settings → Privacy → Ads, depending on your device).
• Google ad settings: manage Google's ads controls at https://myadcenter.google.com.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not receive your personal information from Google; we only receive aggregate information about ad performance and revenue.

Children's Privacy

Card-opolis is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13 (or under the applicable age of digital consent in your country, which is up to 16 in some regions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us and we will help resolve it.

Your Rights

Because we do not collect or hold personal information about you, there is no account or personal data for us to access, correct, or delete. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EEA and UK, or the CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have rights over data that Google processes for advertising; you can exercise those through Google's tools linked above.

Your locally stored game data can be removed at any time by clearing the App's storage in your device settings, or by uninstalling the App.

Data Retention

Game data stays on your device until you clear the App's data or uninstall the App. Data processed by Google AdMob is retained according to Google's own policies.

Security

Since the App does not transmit your game data anywhere, it is protected by your device's own security. Ad requests are sent to Google over the Internet using standard secure connections where available.

International Data Transfers

We do not transfer personal data. Google may process advertising data in countries other than your own, as described in Google's privacy policy.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last Updated" date and take effect when posted. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
